What makes the MHS GM450 stand out 1. Exceptionally clean cuts and minimal crumbs The machine uses high-quality blades with a special coating which, combined with the optimum bread movement geometry, ensure a perfectly smooth cut. The slices do not tear, the crumb is not compressed, and the amount of crumbs produced is kept to a minimum, saving both ingredients and cleaning time. 2. Unique blade oiling system without oil mist MHS uses a patented direct blade oiling system that applies food-grade oil precisely where it is needed. Its advantage is that the machine does not spray oil into the air (no greasy coating forms in the cutting chamber or around the machine) and uses an absolute minimum of oil. As a result, the GM450 can easily slice even warm bread and sticky rye doughs, which would immediately clog a conventional slicer. 3. Maximum safety (certified for self-service retail) When the machine is installed in a customer retail area, safety comes first. The GM450 SB version features a system of electromagnetic cover locks. As soon as the blade is moving, the covers are mechanically locked, making it impossible for the customer to insert their hand into the hazardous area. The blade stops instantly once cutting is complete. 4. Hermetic separation of the mechanics from crumbs Unlike less expensive slicers, the MHS GM450 has a fully enclosed drive and electronics. All bread crumbs fall exclusively into the large-capacity collection drawer and do not reach the motor, belts or bearings. This dramatically reduces machine downtime and makes daily cleaning easier. 5. Intuitive and easy operation The customer or staff member simply inserts the loaf, closes the cover and presses a button. The machine automatically holds and feeds the bread, then presents it ready for removal once sliced. Anyone can operate it without any prior training.
